Embassy Attestation: Mexico
Indian documents cannot be legalized by the Embassy of Mexico since both countries are members of the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961
India Since 2005, is a member of the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961, which abolished the requirement for the legalization of foreign public documents.
Apostille is acceptable in all member countries of the Convention.
Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lank Documents from the above-mentioned countries that need to be used in Mexico must be legalized by the Consular Section in New Delhi, India.
Requirements:
1.- Original Document, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Issuing country and by their Embassy/ High Commission in New Delhi. 2.- Authority Letter (original) of the document’s owner 2.- ID of the person signing the authority letter and representative (copy) 3.- Legalization fee of 44.00 USD payable in INR at the exchange rate provided by the Embassy.
Procedure:
Once you have the documents request an appointment writing to contactoconind@sre.gob.mx attaching a PDF copy of the document for review.
On the appointment date submit the complete requirements.
Document will be ready to pick up the next office day at the indicated time.

Apostille Process for "Mexico" in India by MEA.
How to Obtain Apostille from MEA?
Step 1
Authentication* of Certificates from State Authentication Departments (MHRD), Home Departments, SDM (Sub-divisional Magistrate Delhi), or GAD.
This Authentication Office takes the original Certificates and after verification from the Issuing Institution puts seal and sign of authenticity, this is a government office under MHRD.
It takes over 1 month to get certificates signed and stamped from HRD. except for a few states like Uttar Pradesh.
*In the case of the commercial document then it should be attested from the respective Chamber of Commerce.

Once you received your Authenticated certificates from the respective department/respective chamber of commerce you may apply for Apostille by MEA through any agency or agent by paying the fees charged.
the apostille process is easy than the above-mentioned authentication process as it takes only 2 working days.
Note: Direct Approach in MEA is not allowed for Individuals.
